Landscape box transformer casing is believed to be a familiar type of substation equipment. In order to protect the precise electrical components inside, various materials of box transformer casing are always chosen as external devices. Many users simply add a protective fence outside the box transformer casing and ignore it. In fact, this type of device requires maintenance!
1. Regular rust removal and paint repair
In general, after long-term exposure to wind and sun, as well as some technical errors during the construction process of the shell manufacturer, the shell of the landscape box transformer may experience varying degrees of aging (such as paint peeling, rust, etc.), except for the cement landscape box transformer shell. Untreated aging phenomena can cause unpredictable damage to the box, so special attention must be paid!
2. Pay attention to the monitoring of internal temperature, humidity, and constant temperature
The shell of the landscape box transformer, as a power equipment compartment, has strict control over temperature and humidity to avoid the occurrence of fires caused by excessive temperature. The ambient temperature inside the box is controlled by the air conditioner, which is set to the automatic gear of 27 ℃ in spring, summer, and autumn, and to 35 ℃ in winter. Control the ambient humidity inside the box by setting the humidity controller at 85% relative humidity. Start the air conditioner with dehumidification function through the heater for dehumidification. In areas with high humidity, turn on the air conditioner with dehumidification function for dehumidification or manually start the fan. Utilize air circulation for dehumidification to control the ambient humidity inside the box below 85%, in order to avoid long-term start-up of the heater and affecting its service life.
3. Enhancement of auxiliary accessories
General landscape box transformers have auxiliary accessories designed inside the casing to facilitate internal equipment monitoring and early warning security. These auxiliary accessories include intelligent light sensing equipment, monitoring equipment, fire protection facilities, alarm systems, temperature control systems, and lighting systems. In the case of unmanned box type substations, temperature and smoke alarms should be installed internally, and the alarm signals should be directly connected to the monitoring center to achieve timely detection and handling of faults and hidden dangers.
4. Pay attention to the regular dust cleaning work of the heat dissipation parts
Generally, the cooling device for the shell of a European style landscape box transformer has two fixed positions: one is the louver on the box wall, and the other is the forced air cooling ventilation duct of a natural transformer on a cement base. Attention should be paid to the dust on the electromagnetic induction partition network inside the ventilation louvers of the box transformer casing to prevent blockage and affect the heat dissipation of the box transformer casing.
